The cherry blossoms blossoming on the elevated river walk in front of my apartment were specially illuminated.
This spectacular lighting celebrates the transient beauty of the blossoming and falling of the leaves.
Befittingly, the lighting only lasted a few days, and the leaves fell shortly after.
A long established concept in many Asian cultures, I cannot help but ponder the the impermanent nature of life reflected before my very eyes.
